Two appliances from Camborne and two from Redruth attended a dog which had fallen down a mineshaft. Using two specialised saftey at height and confined spaces packs, one crew member was lowered down into the mine shaft to rescue the terrier. The Jack Russell was secured in a safety harness and both were raised to the surface. The shaft was 20 meters deep and was dry at the bottom. The dog was returned to its owners uninjured.
