Cornwall Library Service

Mobile Libraries

About the Mobile Library Service

Our fleet of mobile libraries visits villages and hamlets fortnightly throughout Cornwall: a mobile library probably visits your village already.

The routes are on a fortnightly schedule, starting on Mondays, week 1 and week 2.

This is week 2

There is also a mobile library visiting residential and nursing homes and warden controlled accommodation throughout Cornwall. If you would like a visit from this vehicle, please contact Redruth Library on 01872 322005.

Everyone requesting membership is required to provide reasonable proof of their identity.

Temporary membership is open to individuals who expect to be resident in Cornwall for less than 12 months, such as holidaymakers or seasonal workers, on production of a valid home library card or £10 deposit.

You will need to provide proof of address.

If you want to reserve books from the on-line catalogue you will have to ask for a branch library card.

You can join online or view the Borrower Registration Form which can be printed off and taken to your mobile library with proof of address.
