Cornwall LTP1 Delivery Report - July 2006

The Local Transport Plan process brought about a culture change for those responsible for transport provision in Cornwall. Emphasis became much more clearly placed on transport as a means by which other wider objectives could be delivered. The impact on wider policy aims has been significant and yet can be developed still further. Whilst there have been impressive achievements in a number of different wider policy areas including facilitating sustainable development, improving health and reducing the fear of crime, the progress made in the areas of  Economic Regeneration and Social Inclusion have been chosen for more detailed reporting.
