Chimney Fire

On receipt of this call, crews from Looe were mobilised, on arrival they found that the fire involved a woodburning stove which had spread to a wooden beam. Brigade personnel removed the beam and large quantities of smouldering coal and soot. The crew remained for a considerable time to ensure the fire was out and everything was satisfactory.
