One appliance from St. Austell and the rescue tender from Bodmin were alerted to this incident, which involved the caller being trapped in the car, in a precarious position near a river. The caller managed to get out of the car with help from members of the public, before the arrival of the Brigade, the fire control operator kept the caller on the line until she was removed from the car. Brigade personnel assisted at the scene. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
