Two crews from Camborne attended a chip pan fire in a cafe at Pool Market. Upon the crews arrival the fire had been extinguished by a member of the public using a dry powder extinguisher and a damp tea towel. Two casualties were treated on scene by Ambulance crews for smoke inhalation. Brigade crews removed the chip pan from the incident scene to outside the building, allowing it to cool. Crews then ventilated the market using the sites exitsting ventilation system and also used small gear to check the buildings ducting system. No further details are avaliable on this incident.
