One appliance from Newquay attended a car fire in a layby at Lane. On arrival the crews found the vehicle to be well alight, and wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel extinguished the fire. The cause is believed to be deliberate ignition and details have been passed to Devon and Cornwall Police for further investigation.
