On receipt of this call, one appliance from St. Columb and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival at the scene further assistance was required and an appliance from Newquay attended. The incident involved three cars with two persons confirmed trapped, Brigade personnel used crash rescue equipment to release the casualties into the care of attending West Country Ambulance personnel. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police, who were in attendance.
