Two crews from Newquay and Truro along with the Rescue Tender from Bodmin are in attendance at a two vehicle road traffic accident near Kestle Mill. A car and a van were involved in the accident. Two casualties were seriously trapped in the car. A third was trapped by the nature of their injuries. All three Brigade crews worked simultaneously on the vehicle, releasing the casualties using crash rescue equipment. Both of the two seriously trapped casualties have now been released. Brigade crews then assisted Ambulance crew with the third casualty manual handling them out of the vehicle. Crews still remain on scene.
