One fire appliance from Camborne and one fire appliance from Redruth attended a fire in a bedroom. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to extinguish the fire and a positive pressure ventilation fan to vent the smoke.
Five people, suffering smoke inhalation, were left in care of ambulance personnel.
