Appliances from Redruth and Camborne were mobilised to this incident. On arrival it was found to be a fire in the first floor of a building, four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to extinguish the fire. The first floor was severely damaged and one person was treated by the ambulance for smoke inhilation. Arson was suspected. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
