Fire crews from Callington and Saltash were mobilised following a 999 call reporting a house full of smoke. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the house to find that the source of the smoke was burn food in a microwave oven. The crews ensured the fire was out and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke.
