Appliances from Penzance and St. Just were mobilised to this incident. The original call stated that there were persons reported, but on arrival all persons were accounted for, the fire was in a first floor bedroom of a terraced cottage, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a jet to extinguish the fire.
