On receipt of this call, crews from Redruth were mobilised, on arrival at the scene there were 'persons reported' and additional resources were requested, appliances from Camborne were mobilised. The fire involved the first floor of a semi detached property measuring approximately 10 x 8 metres, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel to extinguish the fire, fortunately all persons were quickly accounted for. Brigade personnel proceeded to use the positive pressure fan to ventilate the premises. The cause was believed accidental. No further details are available on this incident.
