Dog Rescued From Rising Tide At Garras Wharf

Garras Wharf, Newham Road, Truro at 19/02/2009 09:30

Crews from Truro rescued a lovely chocolate labrador from the rising tides by Tescos after it had fallen over the wall into the deep mud flats below. Crews had to use short extension ladders and dry suits with life jackets to reach the stranded family pet. And in thanks, the dog licked the fire fighter's face continually whilst being pulled from danger. The dog was happily reunited with its grateful owner.
