Two fire appliances and the aerial ladder platform from Truro and one fire appliance from Falmouth are in attendance at smoke-logging in a stairwell. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are cutting away a wall to locate the source of the smoke. Engineers are in attendance assisting.

Final udate 1230hrs: The fire, which involved fibrous material inside a dividing wall, has now been extinguished. The smoke has been cleared from the building and the crews are making up their firefighting equipment, ready to leave the scene shortly.
