Car Catches Hedge and Field On Fire.
St Stephens Hill, Saltash at 06/03/2009 20:04
One crew from Saltash were initially mobilised to flames seen in the distance near the allotments on St Stephens hill. Crews proceeded on foot to the fire and on their arrival found a car on fire. The fire had spread from the car to a hedge and some of the field. Crews requested the attendance of a second pump. Crews used one hosereel one jet and two breathing apparatus. One of the appliances was used to supply the second with water.
