Two appliances from St Dennis, two from St Austell, one from Mevagissey along with the Command Support Unit from Truro and specialist appliances from Falmouth are in attendance at this incident. The fire commenced at 0059 hrs today. This was a two storey building measuring 20m x 10m and contained waste cardboard and tyres. The crews have used eight breathing apparatus, four main jets and two light portable pumps to extinguish. The incident will shortly be scaling down and some crews returning home.

Update at 0900 hours: All crews have left the scene, although one appliance from St. Austell is on scene monitoring and damping down.
