There were two large gorse fires with seperate fronts reported on the Goss Moor. Appliances from St Dennis, Newquay and Bodmin attended, the first front. The fire was extinguished using hosereel to damp down and allow the fire to burn to a natural break. The second front was tackled by St Columb, Newquay and Wadebridge, and was allowed to burn to a natural break with damping down and beaters used to extinguish.
