Barkers Green, St. Austell at 28/04/2009 03:41
On receipt of the initial call for this incident stating a house was on fire, both appliances from St. Austell were mobilised, on arrival there was found to be a car and a van well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to extinguish the fires, a nearby property suffered heat damage to its fascias. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police were in attendance and will be making further enquiries.
