Appliances from Truro and St. Austell attended this incident. At first there were persons reported in the house, but subsequent enquiries confirmed that all persons were accounted for. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel and a jet to extinguish the fire, the Thermal Image Camera was also used during the incident.
The fire had spread to an adjoining property, crews were delayed at the scene for some considerable time damping down and ventilating the properties.
