One appliance from Perranporth and one appliance from Truro attended a fire involving a heavy goods vehicle. On arrival the crews found that the brakes had caught fire but were found to have been extinguished. Crews used one hose reel to cool the wheel and a thermal image camera to ensure it had cooled to safe temperature.
