Rubbish Fire

Two appliances from Padstow attended a report of a grass fire on the road outside St Merryn. On arrival the crews found a large rubbish fire approximately eight metres by six metres. Crews used two hose reels and one jet to extinguish the fire. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and details have been passed to the Police for further investigation.
