Firefighters from Torpoint were mobilised to a report of a chimney fire. On arrival they found that heat from the chimney had set alight to part of the roof. The crew used one hosereel to extinguish the fire by 0005hrs. They remained on scene for a further 45 minutes removing debris and damping down.
