Two fire appliances from Perranporth and one fire appliance from Truro were mobilised to reports of a bungalow on fire, where it was unknown if anyone was inside.
When the fire crews arrived they found the property, measuring approximately 20 metres by 15 meters well alight. It was quickly confirmed that no persons were inside.
Further assistance was requested and two fire appliances from Redruth and a water carrier from Newquay were mobilised.
Firefighters fought the blaze using four jets and the fire was brought under control by 1830hrs.
Firefighters remained on scene damping down, with the last fire crews leaving the incident at 2200hrs.
An investigation into the cause of the fire will continue on Tuesday morning.
