Two appliances from Bude attended a reported house fire in Week St Mary. On arrival the crews found a small fire in the airing cupboard. Wearing four breathing apparatus and using one hosereel, the crews extinguished the fire. The roof space was investigated using a thermal image camera to check that the fire hadn't spread. A positive pressure ventilation fan was then used to clear smoke from the property. The fire is believed to have started accidentally.
