One appliance from St. Ives was initially mobilised to this incident, further resources were requested, appliances from Penzance also the light pumping appliance from St. Ives are in attendance. Crews are dealing with approximately 400 metres of dry heathland, two jets are in use at this time.

Update at 1500 hours: The fire has now been extinguished, crews will remain for approximately one hour damping down hot spots and making up equipment.
