Firefighters from Camborne, Redruth, Newquay and Truro are currently battling a blaze in a derelict building in North Roskear Road.
On arrival at the incident crews from Camborne immediately made pumps three as the two storey building was well alight. Several minutes later, Firefighters requested further assistance from another pump and the aerial ladder platform from Newquay.
Firefighters are currently using breathing apparatus, hose reels and jets to fight the fire.

Update: The fire has now been extinguished and crews are detained at scene damping down hotspots.

Further Update: 06/6/09 07:30. Firefighters from Camborne re-visited the site today to check for hot spots.
