Crews from Callington, Saltash, Tavistock and Bere Alston attended a fire involving a large domestic garage. The garage contained two vehicles and on arrival the crews from Callington found the building which also contained a workshop to be well alight. Further resources were requested to attend. Crews wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reels and jets have now extinguished the fire but are using one jet to continue to damp down hot spots. The cause is believed to be accidental ignition.

At 23:19hrs the fire has been extinguished and all appliances have now returned to their home stations.
