Gorse Fire

One appliance from Perranporth attended a reported gorse fire behind Wheal Kitty. On arrival the crews found a small area of gorse measuring approximately ten metres by ten metres, on fire. Crews using one hose reel extinguished the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately.
Details of this incident have been passed to the Police. There are no further details available regarding this incident.
