On reports of this incident both appliances from Penzance and one from St. Ives were mobilised. On arrival it was found that a vehicle was on fire within the garage, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hosereel, the crews then proceeded to remove the vehicle to open air. An ambulance was requested and treated one person for the effects of smoke inhilation. The cause was classified as accidental.
