At 1813 the Brigade were called to a barn fire in the Kingston area. Two fire appliances from Callington Fire Station attended and reported a barn 50 x 30 meters containing 900 bales of straw and hay to be alight. Two further fire engines from Launceston Fire Station attended the incident to assist and a jet was used to cool the boundary of the fire and the fire allowed to burn out under supervision.
