Two crews from Launceston were alerted at 4am this morning to attend a domestic property that was filled with smoke and alarms sounding. Upon the crews arrival the parents had taken the family of four out of the building thanks to the alarm being raised by a smoke detector. A fire had started in a wall radiator in a child’s bedroom. Firefighters removed the radiator from the wall using small tools and took it outside the building. An Ambulance attended the incident to check the occupants were well.
