Appliances from Newquay attended a reported fire in the toilets on Crantock Beach. On arrival the crews found a skip well alight and smoke had entered the toilet block but there was no fire in the building. Crews wearing two breathing apparatus and using one hose reel extinguished the fire. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and details have been passed to the Police for further investigation.
