At 1115 hrs the Brigade started to receive several calls to flooding incidents. Appliances attended various locations throughout the city involving flooding caused by the heavy rain. Crews were able to assist in some cases where water had entered buildings but in other cases no assistance was possible. Also as the rain eased the drains were able to clear the water away and the brigade were no longer required. By mid day the flooding had receded.
