The Brigade were called at 2059 hrs on the 5th July to an incident involving a large barn housing 200 cattle. The pillars/girders gave way which were supporting the slurry pit flooring, separating the cows from the slurry. Approximately 37 cows entered this slurry. Brigade and farmers are working in partnership to perform the rescue of these animals. Appliances from Bude, Delabole, Bodmin, St Austell, Falmouth, Truro and Camborne are in attendance at this time.

Further to the above at approximately 4 am the last cow was rescued making 37 in total. All appliances are now making their way back to home stations.
