On the initial call for this incident, appliances from St. Dennis were mobilised, on arrival further resources were requested, an appliance from St. Austell also Newquay and the water carrier from Newquay attended. The incident involves a boarded up premises measuring approximately 12 x 5 metres, which was well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using a hosereel and jet at this time. Western Power have been requested to isolate power to the premises. Further updates as and when received.

Update at 2200 hours: Power has now been isolated to the premises. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using hosereels and jets at the incident. Arson is supected. Devon & Cornwall Police are in attendance.

Update at 2245 hours: The fire is now extinguished and crews area returning to their home stations.
