Two fire appliances from Perranporth and one fire appliance from Newquay were mobilised to a report of smoke in an office building.

On arrival, the fire crews reported that there was heavy smoke-logging in the building that measures 25 metres by 4 metres. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one jet to extinguish the fire.

A positive pressure ventilation fan was then used to clear the smoke from the building. The electrics were affected by the fire and engineers from Western Power were called to make them safe.
