On receiving this call, two appliances from Truro were mobilised, on arrival they found a building of approximately 15 x 4 metres well alight, and requested a further appliance. Police were on scene to help with the evacuation of nearby properties, ambulance were also on scene dealing with a casualty suffering from smoke inhilation and cuts. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a hosereel and jet were commited at the scene. Approximately 50% of the building was damaged in the incident.
