Fire Involving Fuse Box

Two fire appliances from Bude attended a fire involving a fuse box. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the smoke-filled property with a dry powder extinguisher to deal with the fire. A positive pressure ventilation fan was then used to clear the smoke.
One person suffering smoke inhalation was treated by ambulance personnel at the scene.
Electrical engineers attended to make the electrics safe.
