Crews from Liskeard and Callington along with the Rescue tender from Bodmin attended a serious road traffic accident. The accident involved a single mini, which had hit a tree. Upon the crews arrival, there was one casualty trapped in the vehicle. Crews used crash rescue equipment to cut free the casualty and a hosereel to stop the vehicle setting on fire. The A390 has been closed and once the casualty had been cut free they were taken by land Ambulance to the Air Ambulance which was waiting near by. Crews made the vehicle and scene safe.
