Uncontrolled Bonfire

One appliance from Liskeard attended a report of a bonfire which was unattended. On arrival the crew found a large amount of rubbish, in which the fire had become deep seated. It was extinguiished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a main jet with water being supplemented from a hydrant in the village.
