Large Gorse Fire
Cliff top, Upton, Near Bude at 20/09/2009 22:15
Three appliances from Bude attended a gorse fire on the cliffs near Upton. Crews battled gorse fire measuring 40 by 30 meters, a strong on shore breeze was fanning the flames inland. Crews used three hosereels to extinguish the fire and damp down.
