The Brigade were called to investigate a substance which had been leaked onto the highway. On arrival the crew from Bodmin found a brown sticky substance which was identified as an additive for animal feed, probably molasses. In conjunction with the Environment Agency and Highways this is being cleaned up using water and detergent and it was ensured that nothing entered any water courses.
