On receipt of this call, both appliances from Liskeard were mobilised, on arrival the water carrier from Bodmin was requested. The fire involved a barn measuring 40 x 40 metres containing 100 large round hay bales. firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to extinguish the fire, the bales were removed from the barn by tractor.

Update at 2117 hours: The fire is now extinguished, crews are now making up equipment before returning to their home station.
