At 17:08hrs the Fire Service were called to a fire in a scrap yard. Appliances from St Dennis and St Austell attended and crews found approximately 200 tyres well alight. Firefighters using a jet extinguished the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately. Devon and Cornwall Police have been informed and are investigating further.
