Two appliances from Truro were mobilised to a detached property in Shortlanesend after Fire Control received a call stating that their fish tank had exploded. When crews arrived they found there to be a small fire in the ground floor area and using breathing apparatus and a hose reel they quickly extinguished the fire. They also used a positive pressure fan to ventilate the property.
