Cornwall Fire and Rescue service were called to a property on fire. On the arrival of two crews from Looe they reported smoke issuing from the building and requested two further appliances to attend from Polruan and Lostwithiel. The fire occured in a property measuring 8 x 6 meters and the roof was breaking through the roof. Crews used two breathing apparatus and two jets being supplied from a hydrant on the fire. Western Power engineers attended to isolate the electricity supply and crews wearing two breathing apparatus salvaged items from the property. Crews used a 135 ladder to strip tiles externally from the roof.
