The Brigade have been called to a report of a horse with its rear legs trapped in a cattle grid. Appliances are on scene from Bude and en-route from Bodmin - at present crews at using crash rescue equipment to attempt to release the animal.

Update: At 0006hrs fire crews successfully released the horse from the cattle grid using crash rescue equipment. The horse was then left in the care of the on scene vet.
