Unattended Barbecue Sets Hedge On Fire

One appliance from St Columb used one hosereel to extinguish a hedge fire caused by an unattended barbecue.
This particular case was minor but serious injuries and more serious fires have occured with incidents involving barbecues. The Brigade would like to make people aware of the dangers of using barbecues and particularly the care needed in the disposal of the hot ashes.
